CONSTRUCTION

How is the frame constructed?

The frames are fully welded from  2" x 2"  with tongue made of 3" x 2" steel box tube. We then coat all our frames in a truck bed style coating to prevent rust and rock chips.

What is the trailer made out of?

The walls and all cabinetry are made out of Baltic Birch plywood. Precision cut by a computer controlled machine and glued together with marine grade wood glue.  Stainless steel screws are use to connect major components together for additional strength and corrosion resistance.

Is the trailer insulated?

Yes. We insulate the floor, walls, and ceiling.  The floor & ceiling is R-10 while the walls are R-5. Insulating anywhere we can is the best protection from condensation inside the teardrop as well as keeping you cool in the summer.

How well is the trailer waterproofed?

Water is often the enemy of all trailers and RV's so we take waterproofing very serious. All edges and seams are sealed with marine grade epoxy, covered with a 3M flashing tape and then capped with a flexible sealant tape. All exterior screw penetrations through trim, or other mounted accessories, are sealed with a RV grade silicone sealant.
